The Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), iMovie, Procreate and Blender are just a few software programs I am fluent in. Additionally, I have experience using Mac and PC operating systems.
Example: I’ve created a unit dedicated to teaching the basics of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator which can be modified for both novice and advanced learners.

In possession of a Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential in Visual Art with an English Learner Authorization (ELAS - Visual Art). Experienced teaching and creating curriculum for Elementary, Middle School, and High School students.
Example: I created weekly lesson plans for a mixed-age classroom with the goal of accomodating students with varried English language abilities

With a focus on using art as a tool for communication, I implement the principles of Culturally Responsive Teaching in order to connect students to their own (and other) cultures and interests.
Example: In partnership with a local print shop, I organized a fieldtrip where students had the opportunity to meet local artists and create their own silkscreen prints.
